Jeremy Leite: Hello! I’m here with GooglyEyes. For those of you who are unaware of his history on w39… well I’ll let him speak for himself. How about it, mind giving us a quick overview of why people should care what you say?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: Well, I would say that as someone who has led what was once a powerhouse of W39 (-V-/Omen), and then been heavily involved in the MASK formation that caused the breakdown of SIKE, I think most people will have an interest on some level as to what I say. Plus, it seems a running theme to occasionally mention me on the W39 externals (although I’ve been unable to post there for 5 months), so I’m fairly certain people have some interest in me
Jeremy Leite: So you used to play a large role in w39. Where do you spend your time in TW these days, now that you’re no longer playing with us?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: At the moment, I’m spending my time playing with homcgra on homcgra1 W52 – top 10 account there at the moment. It’s quite a competitive world!
Jeremy Leite: Ahh, just like w39 then. *cough cough*
What are your thoughts on how w39 has progressed so far in its two years?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: Well, I’m disappointed that of my original team in -V-, very few remain. LittleBabyJesus is the only one I definitely remember, and I certainly miss a lot of my old team! However, I am surprised with how things have turned out. Rx4U, NOB!!, ~RAID~, 82nd, -V- – all were spectacular tribes at one point in this world. To see none of these tags existing any more is rather sad
However, I am impressed that T.D.E is still around. Albeit through a lot of luck and people under-estimating them, and recruitment of the big dog, King Dragon has certainly led T.D.E to a good position on this world over the course of 2 years.
Jeremy Leite: You mentioned both of T.D.E’s most recent enemies in your list of formidable tribes of w39′s past.
Were you surprised by the transformation of NOB!! & ~RAID~ into A-21?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: I wasn’t. I knew for a while that it was a possibility that was being considered by both parties. However, I don’t believe that, without Hybrid & Focalor at the helm, it would have made any difference. The return of the Rx4U team certainly has messed T.D.E up.
I’m quite surprised at how many ex-NOB!! members turned out to be cowards though. Having fought the same enemy for several months, to then join them is something I never would be able to do.
Jeremy Leite: T.D.E has certainly done some strategic recruiting during the course of the world.
You said you were impressed that they’re still standing; could you elaborate on your thoughts about T.D.E still being around for what looks like the final war of the world?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: Well, they have done well to get this far. However, the turning point of this war will be all dependant on what cer-berus does. Nobody else in T.D.E seems to be putting up any proper fight statistics-wise versus A-21 (he makes up a large percentage of caps off of A21 I believe?). Plus, the two dukes of T.D.E have already been banned for cheating once. Have they learned their lesson?
I don’t see T.D.E being able to beat the beasts that lie within A-21. I have no time or will to play W39 again, but I truly don’t see any outcome beyond A-21 winning this world. Quickly if cer-berus switches his allegiances, or else a fair bit longer.
Jeremy Leite: If I remember rightly, in the past you have often backed T.D.E where others continuously attacked them on the forums for being a family tribe, and you bet on them when others bet against. What made your stance change?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: I did. I was once obliged to stick up for T.D.E, as they were able to put up very good defensive fights versus tribes such as LosT and 82nd and be the one remaining.
However, once I saw through KD’s manipulation tactics, I no longer had any respect for him. That, coupled with the treatment I received from leadership in SIKE, which was claimed by both leaders involved to have been instructed by Jagerblue, gives me no reason to respect the majority of T.D.E any more. Apart from you, obviously. :3
Jeremy Leite: ((blush))
Sorry, flattery won’t get you in my pants no matter how hard you try.
You said you didn’t have the time or will to play with us again; is there any chance that, although you are currently banned from the externals, you may make a return there at least?
-|- GooglyEyes iCommander -|-: It was worth a try ((chuckle))
There is one or two possibilities that would interest me enough to drag me back one last time. However, that is dependant on specific events occurring, and so the likelihood of this happening is currently rather low
Jeremy Leite: Oh well, we’ll just have to rely on getting your commentary elsewhere then.
It’s been good talking to you and hearing your thoughts; thanks for agreeing to be interviewed.
TDE only chance is to drive a path to the west
and cut them in half…….I think A-21 if they try to send as many fakes to the support villas in the cores then send real nukes and noble trains to the frontlines could capture larg areas of land
