The War To End All Wars! (Well not really, but you get the gist of things)

July 1, 2011 in World 049 News, World News, Worlds 41-50 News

Good Day World 49! I hope your all having a wonderful time in this period of instability, war and general chaos. As you all know on the 24th June at 22:00 Server Time, the long awaited war kicked off. This week I shall be talking about all the early war statistics and will have a look at who seems to have the initial lead. So, let’s get started then shall we!

The drama of DeusEx continues

Some of you may recall that last week, I wrote an article on the fall of DeusEx. You may also recall that I had an interview with the two ex co dukes of DeusEx. Due to BMF’s involvement in the situation I was asked by one of their leaders to share what their side of the story is. I believed this to be a valid request as it is only fair that their view is shared. So here it is, a statement telling their side of the story.

The Clash Of The Titans

Before the 14th June, World 49 was a world which was relatively peaceful. There were a few skirmishes here and a few skirmishers there, but as you all know, that changed on that day.  During the 10 day period of no aggression, the world seemed to be in some sort of uneasy atmosphere, the tension was obvious everywhere. For the most part, the 10 day agreement was honoured by both sides. The wait was too long to bear for some people as there was a few launches before the end by both sides but nothing major.

Then it arrived. At exactly 22:00 server time, 24th of June.

I know that Deceit had launched on the dot. We sent thousands of attacks in the first few minutes to quite the few players. Reports said that apart from the odd one or two attacks, BMF didn’t retaliate until a few hours later. At first I was curious as to why this was, but soon reports came in from *VLN* stating they had heavy incomings. It turns out that BMF had launched a harrowing assault on *VLN*.

Since this Deceit has retaliated with a huge assault on the K44 area, hammering the BMF members located there.  From this massive assault the Deceit alliance has been propelled into the front according to statistics. *VLN* by themselves though are still dragging behind quite badly.

With that all said things aren’t looking the best for the BMF side at the moment, with the Slawz account going inactive and being kicked and the owner of the Rtriana account leaving. It looks like these losses didn’t do too much damage expect put minor holes in the K44 and the K85/95 front lines where BMF have hastily filled the gap. Here are some statistics:

Side 1:
Tribes: Deceit
Side 2:
Tribes: BMF

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 01/07/2011 20:52:03

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 446
Side 2: 114
Difference: 332

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 4,115,702
Side 2: 1,069,886
Difference: 3,045,816

Here you can see that Deceit has a massive 332 lead ahead of BMF. The question is, can Deceit maintain the momentum and continue to lead themselves to the winning of the world? Or will BMF launch a counter attack and turn the tables? There is still everything to play for in this war.

Side 1:
Tribes: *VLN*
Side 2:
Tribes: BMF

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 01/07/2011 20:52:03

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 65
Side 2: 278
Difference: 213

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 612,535
Side 2: 2,587,246
Difference: 1,974,711

Again as you can see BMF are absolutely hammering *VLN* Again the questions are, can BMF keep this up or will *VLN* turn the tables? All we can do is wait and see.

Side 1:
Tribes: *VLN*, Deceit
Side 2:
Tribes: BMF, CLN

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 01/07/2011 20:52:03

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 662
Side 2: 504
Difference: 158

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 6,160,250
Side 2: 4,707,164
Difference: 1,453,086

So here are the two sides currently. Overall, earlier in the week BMF lead by quite the margin with Deceit only slowly catching up. Since then Deceit have not only caught up with BMF but they have raced ahead in captures and point growth in general.

So now that the war is in full flow expect to see the territories shifting as the balance of power changes.

That is all for this week, I realise that last week I promised an interview but sadly, the people who were available for an interview were whisked into the war and had no time left :(, so I am sorry that we have no interview. Although I will do my best to harass some people into interviews.

Next week I will be back with further reports on the war and the direction it seems to go and I shall also be looking at the history of the tribes involved so we get a better understanding of the sides.

Thanks very much for reading, BlaMo out ;)
