As most people know, World 38 was just launched yesterday, with World 39 opening any time now. And since no one seems to have the blog yet, I thought I’d Step in to cover the opening. Don’t get used to it though, I’m too busy with W18 to do this every week. ^_^

World Summary

World 38 opened Tuesday, June 2nd, between 12 and 16 Server Time. It already has 24,032 players, and 2,081 tribes. W38 has come to be known for the huge numbers of pre-made tribes there are.

This server moves at a speed of 2x,  is an archer/pally world with coins, does not use the church, and has a unique rule for the smithy, with units being researched by up to 10 tech levels. W38 also has barbs growing up to 1500 points, and a tribe limit of 250. Further details can be found Here.

Another defining feature of W38 is that it has a “world center” in the form of a village with the coordinates 500|500. The player occupying this village is none other than the Tribal Wars Community Manager Lizy. In addition to having her playing the world, she has also founded a tribe in her name: Lizy. I just thought it was cool that our staff is keeping up with the game
