The War Rages on

*This map is from the auto updating maps thread in the public forums. It was made by nickjer and are hosted by Repinski. Credit to them.

It’s been a good 17 days of war and things are in full swing now. From just a quick look at the recent auto updating maps, you can see that things don’t seem to be going to well for BMF. They have lost control of K44, one of their most front line positions. They also lost control of K75 when Deceit recruited 0chibi07.

BMF have also been hit hard by inactives and leavers. In these first days of war, Slawz, Rtriana and Crackraider were all said to have been inactive or had left BMF. Slawz was completely nobled out by both sides, Deceit hoping to push the southern front forward and BMF trying to fill the hole it created.

Rtriana’s owner left BMF not long after the war started, the account left and was in it’s own tribe for a few days before new owners or an account sitter returned the account to BMF. Crackraider was said to have been inactive from not long after the start of the war, this account in particular was hit hardest by the initial Deceit assault. In comparison, Deceit has only lost two or three players since the beginning of the war, most notable the mjk and five nine accounts.

With all that said, you would think BMF were taking a hammering. This is not the case. Since my last blog it has come to light that DeusEx and Plauge, have taken sides. DeusEx has followed their old leader VMP1 and have taken the side of Deceit and *VLN*. While Plague have taken the side of BMF and CLN. This change on the battlefield has shown a great change in the war statistics.

Side 1:
Tribes: Deceit
Side 2:
Tribes: BMF

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 1,042
Side 2: 387
Difference: 655

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 9,702,960
Side 2: 3,656,824
Difference: 6,046,136

These statistics represent the war between just the two giants. These show that Deceit itself is hitting BMF hard and fast. They have a large lead of 655 which will take BMF a long while to catch up and take over if they can turn the tables on Deceit. Most of these conquers can be easily seen that they were in the K45/44/55 area.

Side 1:
Tribes: *VLN*
Side 2:
Tribes: BMF

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 204
Side 2: 372
Difference: 168

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 1,913,738
Side 2: 3,359,067
Difference: 1,445,329

If you can remember, in my last blog I talked a little bit about how *VLN* was under a ‘harrowing assault’ from BMF. Well, that assault has continued long into the war but there has been a much bigger retaliation from *VLN*. In my last blog, BMF were leading *VLN* by a total of 213. This week they lead by 168, although not much of a change, lets dig a little deeper. Since my last blog BMF have conquered 94 villages from *VLN* while *VLN* have conquered 139 from BMF. Is this *VLN* building momentum? Or is it merely a last ditch attempt at turning the tide?

Now let’s see how CLN fare against their larger foe.

Side 1:
Tribes: Deceit
Side 2:
Tribes: CLN

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 285
Side 2: 59
Difference: 226

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 2,760,646
Side 2: 575,784
Difference: 2,184,862

CLN, is getting hit hard by Deceit. In fact they are getting hit just as bad as *VLN* is by BMF. So, let’s see how the state of play is between the two basher tribes.

Side 1:
Tribes: *VLN*
Side 2:
Tribes: CLN

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 145
Side 2: 89
Difference: 56

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 1,291,070
Side 2: 824,877
Difference: 466,193

So while each of the basher tribes are losing to their respective giant enemy quite badly, the battle between the two tribes alone seems to be quite intense and will rage on for a long while yet. So far *VLN* seem to be leading against CLN but only by a fraction.

As mentioned before DeusEx and Plauge have joined the fray and are hoping to help win the battle for their chosen side. The question is though, how are they faring against the much larger tribes they are being forced to fight?

Side 1:

Tribes: DeusEx
Side 2:
Tribes: CLN, BMF, Plague

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 88
Side 2: 404
Difference: 316

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 817,915
Side 2: 3,728,331
Difference: 2,910,416

This war can be said to have been going on before the official declaration but for ease I shall be looking at it from that point. As you can see DeusEx have not been faring too well against BMF, CLN and Plague being  down by 272. With that said though DeusEx have been on the rise since the war, recruiting any strays from either side or from smaller tribes looking for a safer place to be. If they could last the war then they could potentially become a super power again.

Side 1:
Tribes: DeusEx, Deceit, BMF
Side 2:
Tribes: Plague

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 36
Side 2: 5
Difference: 31

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 314,917
Side 2: 47,688
Difference: 267,229

Plague only officially entered the war on the 6th of July. They are down 31 and don’t seem to be making too much of a difference for either sides statistics.

So now, lets look at the overall war statistics without the inactives or leavers added in. I will not show statistics with leavers in as it will all just cause an argument about whether or not I’ve got the right people in there. If you must know they tell exactly the same story as the following statistics, just with bigger numbers.

Side 1:
Tribes: DeusEx, Deceit, BMF
Side 2:
Tribes: Plague, BMF, CLN

Timeframe: 24/06/2011 22:00:00 to 14/07/2011 12:00:00

Total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 1,552
Side 2: 953
Difference: 599

Points value of total conquers against opposite side:

Side 1: 14,521,378
Side 2: 8,907,378
Difference: 5,614,000

So there you have it, the Deceit side of the war is up by a total of 710. Although not an incredibly large lead considering the size of the coalitions it is still a lead to be proud of. Also, considering that the BMF side has two fronts they should also be very, very proud of their efforts thus far.

*All the statistics above may be slightly out due to the date range. Not much has changed in the past few hours apart from a cap here and a cap there.

I would like to say I realise that smaller tribes are playing their parts in the war but I have a plan for coverage on that. Also, I realise that I’ve been promising interviews and all that but every time I go to interview someone they seem to be too busy ;(. I’ll make it my mission to find someone for either of my next two blogs.

Well this is all for now, I will try to get another edition of the World 49 blog out soon to make up for the one I missed. I hope you all enjoyed the read!
