Changes to the Blog

April 1, 2011 in World 016 News, World News

Hey guys. Unfortunately I have some bad news for you all. There have been some major changes to the way the blog works, which will end up costing you. Keep reading to find out more.

Dear Players,

We have some good & bad news. The good news is InnoGames will now be able to give out free premium to all its members for a limited time only. The Downside is this premium must be used to pay for the blog. The reason for this is that Rupert Murdoch of News Corp. Owner’s of MySpace,, The New York Times, etc. have decided to venture more into online ventures and InnoGames was one of the purchases.

Now that Mr. Murdoch has purchased our lovely game and has decided to charge everyone to make some money. We regretfully tell you that you that the following payment structure reflects the current Premium Point System.

200 Points gives you 30 Days of Reading.

So We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience.

Due to this we will also be releasing more blogs quicker to entice our readers.

Above is the letter we’re required to post for all of our readers. InnoGames has been bought out. It has always been a business, but now it is getting even more serious. As stated above, there will soon be a price put on the blogs. They will no longer be free. As of right now, we are unsure of when this payment requirement will go into effect. InnoGames currently has people working on making a direct connection between the blog site and the in-game accounts so that the blog can be purchased directly from a player’s own store of premium points. This way, players won’t have to buy and store premium in a second place just to read the blogs.

If I may make a suggestion, I’d advise that people wanting to read the blogs should hold off on buying access for a bit. Remember that our blogs are saved to the website, so any that are posted before will still be here if you purchase access later.

Sorry that I had to be the bearer of bad news. Until next time, this has been your W16 blogger and fellow spreader of carnage,
