Hola! I was very pleased with all the positive comments on my first edition of the Weekly W11 News – The World’s Only Reliable News. This week all information is again gathered to provide you all the recent updates of what’s going in W11. Extra special this week are graphs of the reducement of players and tribes. With the mathematical extrapolation theory it might be possible to calculate when W11 will end!

RASP did this week again a very good job and (although jotad have also a decent amount of noblings) RASP won the stats easily.

ZIP won the stats this week in the North-West war ZIP-THB with a small amount of noblings. More interesting about this war is the funny proposal of ~THB~ to surrender
Bionic Woman on 15.11. at 21:27
… I (new owner of this account) am letting you (ZIP) know that ~THB~ agreed to end this war if you (ZIP) have enough courage, will, firepower and knowledge to noble this village:
[village]165|19[/village]
If this will show us that you are as strong as you say you are, ~THB~ will surrender and victory will be yours, further negotiations will be available and our future may be bright. If, of course, you’re enough fair, noble, honest, strong and smart. If not, THB will use plan B and you can say good-bye to our lands for ammm…. lets say another 2 years or lets just say forever:) Sounds better;) Don’t you agree?:D We’re not jokiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing:)
Lets finish this in a fast zipzap style and move on to other nice targets.
Good luck and remember, if you will in any kind disrespect this agreement and not follow the procedure or attack any other villages in the next 24 hours and hours after, plan A (this sexy one) is off. This is unique chance and will not be given to you anymore so don’t blow it.

This week somebody wondered when a world ends. The only information about ended worlds are those of World 1 and World 2 of the german (and original) tribalwars game “Die Stamme”. Those worlds ended after 4 years and the tribe with most points won the world. In W1 there were 69 remaining players. In W2 57 players made it to the end.
I collected all the information of the Countdown w11-topic of this year (thanks to Aeneas Julius and MyPetWorm for those updates!) and put them in Excel. In mathematics, extrapolation is the process of constructing new data points outside a discrete set of known data points. It is similar to the process of interpolation, which constructs new points between known points, but the results of extrapolations are often less meaningful, and are subject to greater uncertainty. Still with a good trendline, I think extrapolation is a good method to find the end of W11.
So it was a matter of looking for a good trendline for the data. MyPetWorm stated that a linear extrapolation is good to predict the recent future. In our case the linear extrapolation gives R2=0,9478 (in statistics R2, the coefficient of determination, is used in the context of statistical models whose main purpose is the prediction of future outcomes on the basis of other related information. 0<R2<1. An R2 of 1.0 indicates that the regression line perfectly fits the data). But for a longer future, this linear extrapolation won’t be correct (otherwise the world would end in about 3 months). Also polynomial extrapolations give funny predictions (although R2=0,9975, you can instantly see that the amount of players can’t raise anymore). Finally I found a good trendline: exponential extrapolation. With that trendline
the world would only have 50 players left in October 2011, which would be: the End of the World!

The challenge of last week (best suicide bunny) is won by jbak13! Other notable entries were from Pinrage, Koa Anubis, jesse885 and Elmo
This week the challenge is…
Send me a link via In-game pm. I will choose the best one and it will be featured in next week’s blog.

Thank you all for reading, and I hope you are excited for next week’s edition!
Suggestions or extra information is very appreciated and always welcome in my in game mailbox or forum mailbox.
Greetings World 19 and welcome to the blog! =D
Since this is our first blog post and I’m still settling in, it’s going to be short and sweet. I am still putting together ideas for the blog (which will be updated on a weekly basis) in terms of what sorts of thing should be regular inclusions and what things will be done on a rotating/occasional basis.
I think everyone would like to see current war updates (I plan for this to come mostly in the form of stats and maps, there’s enough PnP on the forums :p) and general news for the world.
I would also like to point everyone to the thread I have made on the forums to discuss the blog, here: http://forum.tribalwars.net/showthread.php?t=176977 Please drop in and leave a comment/suggestion…I want your feedback =D
Everyone seems keen on doing some player interviews, so I will start to work on that. I will also keep a list of current wars on the forums too — if you do not see your war on the list, it’s up to the participants to tell me what’s going on! =D
Now for the fun stuff…it’s CONTEST TIME!
Our blog needs a banner! And I suck at anything graphics related! So here it goes guys. Make me a w19 blog banner.
Requirements:
- Make it a decent size (not too small and not too huge, though it can be adjusted a bit)
- Make sure it says “World 19 Blog” or “w19 Blog”
- Make it pretty/sleek/interesting (ok you get the idea)
- Be creative!
- Sumbit entries either by sending me the file on skype, or PMing me a link via skype/ingame/forum PM.
I’ll leave entries open for at least a week, maybe two, depending on how many entries are submitted. Then I’ll post the entries and we’ll have a vote =)
Winner will be compensated in PP! (unless you are in Asylum, then you get nukes…just kidding =D) Show me your stuff w19!

Hello everyone! Here is Klouwe, the new W11 Blogger, with the Weekly W11 News – The World’s Only Reliable News. First of all I want to thank the previous W11 Blogger bl00dlust023 for the awesome blogs that he made. Cause his blogs were very good, I won’t change much about the lay-out in the beginning. So the blog will mainly contain bundled information of updates of last week. This summary should give players, ex-players, interested people a good idea of what is going on in our world. But I’m also aiming to provide some new information that you can not find in twstats or on the main forums. Therefor this week we have an interview with playerhater11234, the co-duke of {RASP} (currently n°1 tribe of w11). He will answer some spicy questions on actual hot topics. Have fun!

I’m currently only aware of 2 wars so I’ll post weekly their results. If new wars are started, please contact me. Then I’ll add those stats to the blog.
The first war is the North-Eastern clash between RASP and jotad. The underdog jotad is putting up a good fight but couldn’t prevent to lose this week.

This week playerhater11234 (co-duke of {RASP}) found some time in his busy schedule to answer some questions.
Klouwe: jotad are doing recently pretty well versus {RASP} (last month: 315 vs 279). They are also very close to become #5-ranked tribe again. How long (do you think) will they be able to survive?
playerhater11234: I’m hesitant to put a timeline on their survival, as Toll has recieved some flak for his 5-month prediction, but I’d anticipate them being around for a fairly long time. Their core seem to be very good friends with each other, and more than just being skilled players, are extremely loyal to one another. That being the case, I think you’ll see Jotad put up a fight for quite a long time.
Klouwe: But considering the sizes of both tribes (RASP is 4-5 times as big as they are) and the fact that RASP doesn’t have other enemies; shouldn’t jotads downfall go faster?
playerhater11234: Not necessarily. I think their smaller size and their location might actually being working in their favor. As it is right now, I believe they only have about a 2-continent border with us, and it’s with our players in the northeast. Not to say that my guys up there aren’t warriors (they absolutely are), but until this war with Jotad, I don’t think most of them were quite at the same level experience-wise as the {RASP} members to the south that are veterans of the MCD war. Since Jotad is reasonably far away from the MCD war vets (anywhere from 150-250 hours by nuke), these {RASP} members can really only play a limited role in the Jotad war right now. So I guess you could say that part of Jotad’s survival comes down to the fact that their limited border with us, as well as their location, makes it very difficult for the majority of my members to be completely involved in the war. Really, its only about 10-15 players that have been doing most of the fighting for {RASP}’s side.
Klouwe: So other RASP-players are looking for other targets? There has (as example) been action from {RASP} on LoD in K24. LoD is now taking villages back from {RASP} in K54 and K99. Was the incident with LoD a mistake or is this maybe a new way to expand for {RASP}?
playerhater11234: I think this is mostly an isolated incident. LoD and {RASP} have never had any sort of formal diplomatic agreement until very recently, and CHIMERAA has a history with {RASP}, me in particular. I get the feeling that this is simply a territorial dispute…
Klouwe: Recently 2 ex-MCD players left ATTERO to join jotad (to fight {RASP}). Do you think that there are more ATTERO players willing to fight {RASP}? Or does the fact that “ATTERO let members go to jotad” proofs that {RASP} and ATTERO are still good allies who won’t fight each other?
playerhater11234: The two that left are ex-MCD, and I think that most people, especially in {RASP}, view them that way as well (as opposed to ATTERO members). One of the players in Jotad that we have been attacking for a while now is Kaitz, another ex-Macedon. In this instance, I think the players you’re referring to, Rale011 and Ghanghis, are more loyal to their old tribemate than they are to ATTERO. That being the case and the fact that ATTERO leadership has told them they can’t be involved in the {RASP}/Jotad war, I think they decided they would leave ATTERO and join Jotad so that they can try and protect their friend. As far as what it says about ATTERO and {RASP} relations, I think these two’s departure from ATTERO implies that {RASP} and ATTERO relations are as healthy as ever and that the leadership of both tribes respects each others diplomacy and wishes.
Klouwe: RASP and ATTERO together own now 51.7% of the world. In time that dominance will only grow. Wouldn’t it be much more exciting to see soon a war between the 2 biggest powers in W11?
playerhater11234: We’ve had a deal between our tribes for a very long time now, the details of which I will leave out. I’m sure that the world would love to see the two of us fight it out, and it will inevitably happen one day, but for now, I think we’re just trying to let the suspense build…
Klouwe: You are n°1 player in the ODA-ranking. Congratulations with that achievement! Who was your favourite target during gaining all that nice ODA?
playerhater11234: Thanks!… I’d have to say that kaitz has probably been my favorite victim so far. He’s been a much more worthy opponent than anyone else I can remember. Anyone that can take over a month of having his villages catapulted and still put up a good fight has earned my respect…
Klouwe: What would you pick if you are only allowed to have 1 sort of drink for the rest of your life?
playerhater11234: Haha, funny you asked me that. My drink of choice is and always will be MILK. I love milk, and my friends always make fun of me because that’s all I ever drink. If they drink water, I drink milk. If they drink soda…. I drink milk. If they drink beer…………….. I drink milk. I couldn’t live without milk… and all i eat is beef…
Klouwe: Well, let’s hope cows won’t be extinct soon! Thank you very much for your time!

Every week I will pick a challenge for W11 players to participate in.
For the ones who’ve never heared of suicide bunnies… This is an example: http://www.pjlighthouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/funny-bunny-suicide-dota-pjlighthouse-01.JPG
Send me a link via In-game pm. I will choose the best one and it will be featured in next week’s blog.

I am continuing to fight on W28 and the world has not changed since my last post. However, I would like to point out that the map site I use is in need of a new computer, and would like some money for that. If you are willing, just go to map.k-io.com and donate a few dollars. On that site, I am also now the map updater for the world, so if you have any issues with the map, just contact me and I will make the necessary changes to the map. Until next time, wars continue, people die, and border agreements do not change…and PWO eats K53, nom nom.

Top 15
Much in W28 has changed. In short, Apox is now Sith, doubling their physical size and MTS has engulfed EON. The South is cutting the slack and coming down to only a few tribes. With EON part of MTS, now Panda? will start to feel a squeeze. I don’t expect Panda to last until next year. MTS is gaining ground quickly, but by personal experience, it is difficult to run a large family.
Rage is still losing points to KK, PWO, and Drink!. A lot of major changes are happening and I don’t know how many mid-size tribes will last the storm. The top 5 seem to be ready to take over the world and leave little for anyone else.

Due to my lack of time to formulate blogs, I will now release Monthlies, starting next weekend. These will be (hopefully) as good as the old weeklies and should hold us till summer, when the blog will hopefully expand again. I have been working on a large animation with a friend, so Adobe Flash has been cluttered with that among other things. My dayly schedule is thrown into chaos and I can’t find the four hours of straight work (or the focus) to formulate a good blog.
HOWEVER…
This does not mean i’m quitting, it just means i’m going to work at a gear that is more approachable with my wacky schedule. If someone with either skills in animation, time to gather information and resorces, or someone who is willing to take on a column for the blog approaches me, I may be able to produce bi-weeklies. Hopefully winter = more time on my hands, but you can never be too sure…
Over and out!
-Samulis
October is a busy month for most people. It is a time when people are going back to school, college, jobs, and other elements of what many refer to as “Real Life”. These things are seriously beginning to conflict with our abilities to play the game. In this conflict, we must remember that we as players, play the game, rather than the game playing us. Over the past few weeks, many great players, staff members and bloggers have left us, moving on to bigger and better things in their RL adventures.
But every member of the Staff is committed to the continuation and advancement of the game as a whole. This includes our blog department, so I have refined and expanded the Blog Application, and will be hiring new bloggers for the open worlds.
In other news, world 42 opened today, accumulating over 17′000 players before the #1 ranked player reached 100 points. Nothing shows the general enthusiasm of the tribal wars community like the opening of a new server. Here are the top 10 tribes out of the gate:
| Rank | Tribe name | Points of the best 40 player | Total points | Members | Average points per player | Villages | Average points per village |

| 3 | D*44 | 2.909 | 4.913 | 78 | 63 | 78 | 63 |

| 5 | WLFPAK | 2.800 | 4.835 | 80 | 60 | 80 | 60 |
| 6 | Or-D | 2.647 | 4.426 | 75 | 59 | 75 | 59 |

| 9 | SQUAD | 2.559 | 3.015 | 49 | 62 | 49 | 62 |
| 10 | Boom! | 2.546 | 4.057 | 71 | 57 | 71 | 57 |
I wish good luck to the players of W42 as they lead their village and tribe to glory and power in a world full of new opportunities.
The alleged FxF/PTT merger remains on the back burner for now. PTT tried hard to jumpstart an all out East vs. West war by sending some key players over to the fledgling tribe -EE- (eastern empire), which was created to combat -WE- (western empire). Not many FxF players seemed to be willing to move with them and join in the war vs -WE- aside from a few non-warzone simmers. -WE- had a bit of a scandal of its own though, seeing a couple players break off to reform ARES in a bit of a disgruntled movement. Gotta love it when players get nostalgic for old tags, heh.
-WE- vs PTT: Seeing as its been quite a while since the last update, warstats for the past month seem prudent. Now I should have included TATEC on PTT’s side since the revelation that they share forums with PTT, support them, are at peace with them, and war -WE-. This would have added another +100 or so to the -WE- side, but I figured I’d keep the stats simple again; no nonsense, no booted PTT players, no other tribes, no excuses:

On the FxF Front: FxF vs. PTT stats for the first time in a long time are looking promising as well, with FxF carrying a +66 rating vs them this month. Oddly enough though, TATEC is a +73 over FxF somehow, which makes the overall villages changing hands on the FxF front still looking rather neutral.
Recent War Operations: On a plus-side for the PTT family, -WE- had a major offensive vs. Benjiebyro stymied pretty well by a hefty PTT/TATEC defensive effort, which loaded him with ~7 full D’s in nearly all villages targeted. Of the 100+ villages targeted, -WE- still ended up breaking through and nobling over 50 of them, but then lost all but a dozen or so of these to Benjie’s sitter(s) and other PTT players sniping them back. Hats off to the PTT members involved!
So, its a new day, new week and I’m back to school. Today… I hit the rank of 1,000. I find the climb from here to be slow and steady.
So, the news today is that ~L~ merged with PWO.
It also seems that Rage is losing ground to a few tribes.
In the south, it is difficult to see what is happening, it is all a big melting pot and I do not know who will emerge victorious.

Sorry for the short post, but that is all I can offer for this week.
This week we are met again with our several great wars. The video blog has some great new features, and we have a winner from last week’s contest! Please enter this week’s contest. I hope some of the previous problems brought forward by watchers have been fixed, if not, that’s a different problem.
Thanks,
-Samulis
