October is a busy month for most people. It is a time when people are going back to school, college, jobs, and other elements of what many refer to as “Real Life”. These things are seriously beginning to conflict with our abilities to play the game. In this conflict, we must remember that we as players, play the game, rather than the game playing us. Over the past few weeks, many great players, staff members and bloggers have left us, moving on to bigger and better things in their RL adventures.
But every member of the Staff is committed to the continuation and advancement of the game as a whole. This includes our blog department, so I have refined and expanded the Blog Application, and will be hiring new bloggers for the open worlds.
In other news, world 42 opened today, accumulating over 17′000 players before the #1 ranked player reached 100 points. Nothing shows the general enthusiasm of the tribal wars community like the opening of a new server. Here are the top 10 tribes out of the gate:
| Rank | Tribe name | Points of the best 40 player | Total points | Members | Average points per player | Villages | Average points per village |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | HnK | 3.047 | 4.297 | 63 | 68 | 63 | 68 |
| 2 | FAD | 2.950 | 5.074 | 80 | 63 | 80 | 63 |
| 3 | D*44 | 2.909 | 4.913 | 78 | 63 | 78 | 63 |
| 4 | PacMan | 2.861 | 2.906 | 41 | 71 | 41 | 71 |
| 5 | WLFPAK | 2.800 | 4.835 | 80 | 60 | 80 | 60 |
| 6 | Or-D | 2.647 | 4.426 | 75 | 59 | 75 | 59 |
| 7 | H.O.T | 2.645 | 3.992 | 67 | 60 | 67 | 60 |
| 8 | 2.643 | 2.691 | 41 | 66 | 41 | 66 | |

I wish good luck to the players of W42 as they lead their village and tribe to glory and power in a world full of new opportunities.
The alleged FxF/PTT merger remains on the back burner for now. PTT tried hard to jumpstart an all out East vs. West war by sending some key players over to the fledgling tribe -EE- (eastern empire), which was created to combat -WE- (western empire). Not many FxF players seemed to be willing to move with them and join in the war vs -WE- aside from a few non-warzone simmers. -WE- had a bit of a scandal of its own though, seeing a couple players break off to reform ARES in a bit of a disgruntled movement. Gotta love it when players get nostalgic for old tags, heh.
-WE- vs PTT: Seeing as its been quite a while since the last update, warstats for the past month seem prudent. Now I should have included TATEC on PTT’s side since the revelation that they share forums with PTT, support them, are at peace with them, and war -WE-. This would have added another +100 or so to the -WE- side, but I figured I’d keep the stats simple again; no nonsense, no booted PTT players, no other tribes, no excuses:

On the FxF Front: FxF vs. PTT stats for the first time in a long time are looking promising as well, with FxF carrying a +66 rating vs them this month. Oddly enough though, TATEC is a +73 over FxF somehow, which makes the overall villages changing hands on the FxF front still looking rather neutral.
Recent War Operations: On a plus-side for the PTT family, -WE- had a major offensive vs. Benjiebyro stymied pretty well by a hefty PTT/TATEC defensive effort, which loaded him with ~7 full D’s in nearly all villages targeted. Of the 100+ villages targeted, -WE- still ended up breaking through and nobling over 50 of them, but then lost all but a dozen or so of these to Benjie’s sitter(s) and other PTT players sniping them back. Hats off to the PTT members involved!
Newly Unfolding Events: The most notable occurrence in world 7 this past week was the combining of PTT-G and PTT-B into one tribe: PTT. The move apparently was not without its stressors, as one of PTT-G’s top players and 3rd largest player in the gameworld did not join the new tribe. Instead, Mynizzle, the disgruntled -G player, temporarily joined with Kylan in a reformed T.F.B Elite tribe, then left to create his own solo tribe just a couple days later. What does all this mean?? Has PTT become a slum of internal unrest, or has the merge brought them closer into a single unified team? The same questions could be asked of -WE-, with kylan leaving and recreating T.F.B. On top of all this, reports have been swirling (Enhanced by PTT propoganda) of FxF and -WE- relations turning sour. So are new changes afoot in world 7 that could bring back a glimmer of hope to the PTT team? Who knows. Only time will tell, but it is clear that at least some things will remain the same forever: PTT will always boot members that are getting nobled rapidly.
Random Stuff: Lazerus had the idea to come up with some of the worst tribal plans/ideas that have been made thus far in world 7. This was his short and abridged, albeit funny, list:
1. Troy/EMP attempting to backstab TFB and thusly getting themselves destroyed in a hasty manner
2. THE’s requirement for all players to noble five(5) 100-point barbs this past spring (almost none of the players survived in THE long enough to see their weeds grow up)
3. PTT attacking carlyle… again and again and again with a unique type of failure on each major operation.
I couldn’t think of anything worse/funnier than these three, so I figured it was a pretty good top-3. Thanks, laz!
WarStats Summaries for the past month are actually the best that PTT has seen since the start of the war. Here they are :

Alright it is now time to give this forum an update on the real events of world 7. Here is a map that basically explains what’s up… it is punctuated by edits and graphics (lines and dashes) from the cherriest of all programs: MS Paint. Solid lines show fronts where the defending tribe is not giving up ground. Dashed lines are fronts that are experiencing losses. The bursting lines show where -WE- is exploding through the frontlines like a young, eager Mykil into a fresh pair of soft socks that his mother just bought for him. The northwest NOOB region is a conglomerate of random recruits of various tribes left over from the collapse of THE. They are all getting spanked.
There are 2 very important points of interest here, though. 1) The black circle and white dot denote the area of barbs that PTT has successfully stolen from FxF and stacked fairly well. This, along with the merging of PTT-B and PTT-G into one main tribe, is their apparent big plan to change the tides of the war. The orange circle and dot denote the village that Kylan of -WE- nobled deep in PTT territory and has 4 different PTT players supporting him. This village is of the utmost importance to everyone, even if you aren’t in world 7. Also, PTT is bashing 900+ nukes and counting into Carlyle of -WE- in k45/55 (AGAIN!) with no result. They sure do love upping their enemies’ OD scores without nobling things…
Total warstats for the war are something like a net +45 mil pts for -WE- taken from PTT, with the PTT vs FxF war being pretty evenly locked.
So without further delay, here is the map:
And now, here it is, our First World 7 Interview! :
Our Victim: Gabros of PTT-B. He goes by Sergiu, and hails from Romania, the finest TW country of all.
The Interviewer: Me (zach), from his nemesis tribe, -WE-
zach says:
How did you first get involved in TribalWars?
Sergiu says:
I started playing Tribal Wars almost three years ago, on the Romanian server. How did I get there? Can’t really remember, I must have seen an ad on the internet or something like that. After 7-8 months of playing, I came to the conclusion that it’s an extremely tough environment, everyone was playing like crazy and you had to be online many hours per day in order to survive. Then I decided to give it a shot on the international server. World 7 was the first world available, so I just entered and here I am, after more than 2 years since I registered on .net.
zach says:
Wow, so the Romanian server has a lot better competition?
Sergiu says:
At least used to have, I joined World 1 there and everyone was addicted, after several months of playing, all the 4 core continents had no barbarians in them and you had to be super active in order to stay alive. As on all older worlds, things slowed down there too.
zach says:
Ah, cool cool. So what is it for you that keeps you coming back for more? What are your favorite things about TW?
Sergiu says:
There are several things which kept my interest alive in this game: at the beginning, it was the desire to grow big, later I got to know several players quite well and we started working like a team. Furthermore, as things developed, I started to enjoy the diplomatic side of the game and I simply loved to debate, to solve diplomatic issues or to create them
Nowadays, the only thing which still keeps me around is that nice group of friends I’ve made. The diplomatic part of the game no longer exists, the borders were set and it’s just war. Like it should be, right? Tribal wars, after all.
Favorite things about TW?
That would be… getting to know people, influencing the course of things in unknown ways for most of the other players. I also enjoy getting information and using it for the benefit of my tribe. If I were to choose a TW unit which would represent me mostly, I’d say I’d be a scout.
zach says:
Haha that’s great. A nice asset you must be to any tribe… which brings me to our next question: You’re an old timer in PTT, and a leader in presence and title, in your tribe. What, in your view, does PTT have that keeps it together that other tribes are missing?
Sergiu says:
I joined PTT in April 2008, coming after a successful spell in VF, the most enjoyable TW experience I ever had. PTT-B is currently made of two strong groups, one being the old PTT-B core centered around players like CCLL, Jason-theKing-Yeh or Macabrius and the other one being the VF crew, having Xafilah and Snowman as main representatives. These two groups blended very well, I’d say.
What really kept us together was the many successes we had together, but losses too contributed to strengthening our ranks. I am happy to be in a tribe which has skilled, fully mature players who above all, have respect for the player they have alongside them or against whom they’re fighting.
Of course, just like every other tribe, we have our players who are probably still adjusting their way of playing and sometimes misbehave, but one thing I know: that in all PTT tribes, since the game began, every player had its chance, all he had to do was to fit in and learn how to play.
zach says:
PTT, like your enemy FxF, has been around for a long time, whereas your other enemy, -WE-, is a somewhat newer creation. What are the pros and cons of longevity as a tribe?
Sergiu says:
Even though PTT as a family of tribes exists since the world started, it suffered many changes. Or should I say it benefited from many changes? Currently, there are few PTT players who are playing since the beginning and I admit that fresh blood from time to time is vital to any tribe. Being such an old family of tribes means that we have a long history and a legacy to defend, to continue the efforts made by those before us. I can’t really find any negative aspects of longevity in this case. As long as we survived so far, then we must have been doing things right, right?
zach says:
Tell me about your favorite war or operation you’ve been part of in world7
Sergiu says:
That is something I cannot speak of right now, I will glady get back to you as soon as I’ve finished my time on World 7. It’s quite an interesting operation and some would be amazed to find out that things were not actually the way they seemed.
zach says:
oh, so its currently under way?
Sergiu says:
Let’s just say that some of the major events in W7 history took place because they were somehow influenced by my activity. About those, I will only speak when I will cease to play. So I guess we should have another interview in a while, if our readers are interested.
zach says:
Fair enough. Could you talk about your least favorite/hardest time in world7 then? Or something that went wrong for you?
Sergiu says:
My biggest disappointment remains the fall of VF, as it was the most enjoyable time I had on W7 and the reasons for which we crumbled were that we simply became too big in a small period of time and the tribe had in it numerous players who were later going to become important figures on the server. I’d mention players like Deborien, Colpo, mast3rpiece – dukes of *I*.
I’d even mention Mordecairule, who is currently playing in -WE- under a different name, but nowadays he is mainly famous for his posts on our external forums and for his aggressive attitude towards PTT.
zach says:
morde sucks
Sergiu says:
haha
zach says:
Ok, Ok… back to business. Who is/was your favorite enemy, and why?
Sergiu says:
My favorite enemy used to be FxF, back then when they were able to bite. I enjoyed playing against them, nowadays I don’t because most of the quality players they had either quit or got replaced by others. What saddens me the most is the childish, immature behavior I see from some of their players who took this game to a whole different level, one which involves insults and lack of sportmanship.
Yes, there were moments when a friendly chat was impossible with some, due to their “dedication” to destroying PTT. Talk about us being old and famous…
Now, if you want to know who is my favorite enemy player, that must be inferno 00, he’s a nice guy with whom you can have a nice chat all the times. Hi Shady!
zach says:
When do you think FxF will declare on -WE-?
Sergiu says:
I have no intention to disrespect my friends in FxF but I simply can’t see them strong enough to put up a fight. Most of them stated it already: they’re happy with second place on the world. They’re also in a lucky position, with -WE- deciding to pick PTT as their next targets. FxF is no longer what it used to be and if they really want to prove me wrong, I am looking forward to it.
We may be fighting on two fronts, not doing too good against the many players -WE- have, but we are holding on very well against FxF and if it weren’t for the trouble in the west, I am confident that PTT-B could have easily handled FxF.
zach says:
Good response! If you could change one thing about world 7, what would it be? (please say half-priced coins!!! )
Sergiu says:
Half-priced coins! And I’d remove archers, I hate archers. But still, I have archers in my defensive villages, so don’t make any plans. Or I don’t have? Oh well, try it out.
zach says:
I hear a lot of banter between worlds about one world being better than another. How do you think world 7 stacks up?
Sergiu says:
Being the only world I play, I can’t really compare it to other worlds. It’s a pretty decent world, generally speaking. It has everything: skilled players, noobs, traitors, cheaters *waves at tnetz*, Runescape players *hello Colpo & Co.*. All worlds get eroded by boredom at one point and I believe that our world is also on a descending slope.
zach says:
And now, the question everyone wants to know: Who will win world 7, and how long will it take?
Sergiu says:
That is a tough question and I can’t come up with a proper answer. Currently, -WE- are in pole position, everyone knows that. But many things can change in time, FxF and PTT still have what it takes to make a difference. Let’s hope that we get those half-priced coins soon, that will also speed up things a lot.
zach says:
Do you have any other final comments or advice to give to your fellow w7 TWers?
Sergiu says:
It’s been a great run so far, packed with excitement, twists and unexpected turnovers. This world is still far from being over and we can all squeeze some enjoyment out of it. So if you’re in a dull position, not enjoying the game anymore, I dare you to change things around. You’d be amazed to see that even though you’re a small player or a forgotten tribe in a corner of the world, you can play a big role in the outcome of this world.
zach says:
Thank you very much for the excellent responses, Sergiu.
Sergiu says:
It was my pleasure, thank you too, zach.

Hello there people of W40, Alright so our world is just coming to its feet and beginning to walk.
To start things of a war has been declared, there isn’t much information given out but they have declared because:
“We feel as a tribe they are a weak and not worthy to be #1 in our continent so we declare war to bring them down!”
Yes some of you will have already figured it out, The Hero Family have declared upon Cell to take the number one spot of K44, now this being said they declared upon cell after declaring themselves. It was a big mistake when they wrote in the thread:
“I am a member of the tribe Hero-E and I would like to inform all that our tribe has declared war on Hero-e.”
But thanks to Jackandcoke it was all sorted out.
Nothing on APATHY’s war to entertain but hopefully I will have something on that next week.
I’m pleased to announce a union so epic that…
Kata and Iban are officially allies at this point. Yes the world now knows the love between the two and they are sealing the deal with an alliance. Some are saying the alliance is to do with romance between marcusrmccloud and sP.Ag but we all know that’s not true *Wink-Wink*. It was not an instant alliance but began with a NAP, after the flooding talks in their forum about Kata some knew it wasn’t long before an alliance was made.
Congratulations to:
WalaceX on the first ennoblement of the world and it sure was a big pointer which shot him to the rank 1 spot. This came as a surprise as everyone expected it to be shadowcloud since he was the first to get an academy then there were talks about him being the first to get a noble so there were high hopes for him and sadly he was second for a getting a second village but congratulations WalaceX.
<Kuchiki>Hello Praggers, and thank you for taking time out of your day to answer these questions for me!
<praggers> just like to begin by saying you new sig looks great did you make it
<Kuchiki> yes I did
<praggers> well it is a nice sig and you should come hang out with all us CFX designers
<Kuchiki> Now, how long have you been playing Tribalwars to date? And what interesting figures have you met across your times playing that have followed you to this world?
<praggers> ok well been playing around two years and as I yet imp still learning new stuff, but I have quite all my pervious worlds and am just concentrating on this world, I’m not a girl cant multi task loll
<Kuchiki> Has your past experience or the famous figures that you have met helped improve your game play or knowledge of the game?
<praggers> most defiantly I learnt from two guys that have played for many seasons. I learnt loads from them and showed me the ropes it’s good to become friends with experienced players as you pick the game up allot quicker
<Kuchiki> so who actually revealed tw to you or how did you find it?
<praggers> well I was feed up of buying rubbish pc games, so I searched a found this one and for all you out there imp an addict, there is only one other game that comes close battlefield heroes.
<Kuchiki> cool. what gave you the idea to use this name and what do you find appealing about it, also what does it stand for?
<praggers> ok well my second name is Pragnell and all my friends call me praggers (yes KATA I do have friends)
<Kuchiki> Now the interview really begins. This involves allot of had questions so I recommend a sweat TOWEL. Now out of everyone in the w40 community why do you think I picked you?
<praggers> maybe because I am most hated LOL!!!
<Kuchiki> A decent answer please
<praggers> Ok well is it because I have managed to get two tribes in the top 10 ranked in the world
<Kuchiki> I won’t tell you why but, There are allot of mixed feelings on the forums about you, why do you think that is, I mean you yourself said you were the most hated, why may that be?
<praggers> its because I liked to get noticed and I like a bit of competition, every world I have played in I never get attacked and for this to happen I need to cause some hated between tribes, I feel this helps to really get the game going.
<praggers> sorry about the spelling seems that this keyboard has lagged
<Kuchiki> I see and what made you leave such an overrated tribe, LOST?
<praggers> well as I you all no I did get kicked, this is because of one player not mentioning any names, but at least me and the duke Dad666 left on good terms and I would like in the future of this world to make that bound stronger, we still converse on Skype
<Kuchiki> and you say you managed to get two tribes in the top ten, I understand LOST but how did you get SQUAD there I mean you are not mentioned on their profile? What privileges do you have there?
<praggers> I do not have any prigs as it has been mentioned that I tried to take LOST away from dad666 so I opted out of any privileges in SQUAD just to prove that I didn’t need any to help out a tribe and I must say SQUAD has been made by a few members not just me as where with LOST I done it mostly myself. I’m am known by allot of people as a tribe Doctor I help tribes that need a little push
<Kuchiki> You tried taking LOST away from dad666?
<praggers> I would not like to comment on that it’s between me and dad665 and if I was to tell you it would mess with future plans
<praggers> I and dad666 have played together for a few months and nothing can get in the way of our game plan
<Kuchiki> I see, are there any enemies out there for you to keep an eye on?
<praggers> yes there are iban are now taking a slight back seat as they do not need to prove anything and imp pretty sure they will go the long haul which imp glad about, it’s a shame to see that they allied with KATA I guess they just wanted a bit of glory to
<Kuchiki> Overall what do you expect for the next month or so of this world?
<praggers> I would like to see what tribe does the first merge as this always seems to happen (imp not a great fan of this) I have my idea who will do it first but if it happens will mess this whole world up and I would have to do some pretty drastic actions to keep up
<Kuchiki> How do you think SQUAD will play into the future vision of the world?
<praggers> well I hope that they succeed, they should do they got some great players not mentioning any name 27 million men. this tribe seems to know what they are doing and we are all helping each other new stuff like scripts and sig making as a lot of our members are addicts to. I like this as it gives me people to talk to as I spend allot of time on this game
<Kuchiki> If you could tip any tribe to dominate this world besides SQUAD who would it is?
<praggers> hard to say there are allot of big tribes out there haven’t seen so many big tribes like this in one world before, but I will say that iban may go the distance
<Kuchiki> Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions for me!
<praggers> That no problem and I hope people see me in a new light

Now most of you will know that I have been currently hosting a competition for several categories and the people of W40 have been voting on there favourites, I’m pleased to announce the winners, congratulations;

Using only Paint, create a picture of anything (That follows TW rules) and send me a link via In-game pm.
I will choose the best one and it will be featured in next week’s blog.
Thank you all for reading, and I hope you are excited for next week’s edition!
Thank you,
Kuchiki Senbonzakura Blog Staff
Good day to all you people out in TW land.
Recently I’ve been having a number of conversations with various different people about why we (as individuals) play online games and more specifically tribal wars. Everyone here in TW plays for enjoyment, but not many of us really stop and think why exactly do we enjoy TW; what parts of the game do we enjoy, what parts we don’t…etc. Some players (especially the mods, community managers, and various tribal council members) put allot of their free time into the game, but one of the questions is why, what do we as players get out of TW in return for all of the hard spent hours slaving over keyboards?
With questions in hand I have created a thread in the forums (which will hopefully be moved to the general forum soon), in an attempt to let players talk about why we play, and try to answer some of these questions. Ultimately the aim of this little project is to give the community the chance to voice their own opinions on themselves and the game that they play, hopefully this will give us a better understanding of the game and what motivates us to play it which is useful for the various ‘powers that be’ who have created and run the game for us.
If you have the time I’d urge you to go on the link http://forum.tribalwars.net/showthread.php?t=151339 and take a few minutes to read the thread and contribute.
Ideally I would love to get a proper discussion flowing over the next couple of days, trying to move away from players just answering questions, and create some real dialogue. I’d be mightily appreciative of any and all replies.
Thanks in advance.
Macca
(Ps. If anyone is interested I have a number of websites and academic articles which are based around the topic I’d be happy to distribute them to you if you wish to further read into the topic).
Look… A Plug!

W41’s noobs are now being nobled, the point whores being caught red handed and the rim is filling with people who have either chosen to restart or have been nobled. The great tribes are starting to form and the not so great starting to break. Players are proving themselves to their fellow players and tribemates and are starting to break out the nobles.
A Few Down Points:
• Of the many premades that were created on this world (I suspect around 15-20) there are only a few left (That look good anyway). The two main ones that I’m sure everyone has noticed are MaccyD and Escape. These two tribes seem to be doing absolutly everything right in these early stages of the game.
• A few premades that have failed that were expected to do well:
Gummy Bears (Gummy), Magical Mushroom Kingdom (MMK-), Dreaded Dust Bunnies (DDB), Toons, 47RON.
A couple of upbeat notes:
• The top 3 tribes are all looking very strong, MaccyD being in 1st has by far the highest average points per player with the lowest amount of members. Escape has a strong leadership from what I have heard and can see. They have a strong member base and look to be a very strong tribe. Ouzo I havnt heard to much about, at the beggining I though they were mass recruiters… Like the bulk of the tribes that were ranked high early. They have proven me wrong so far, the tribe looks to have a nice member list ( I believe a few from DDB and Toons are there.
• Oops! has gone under my radar, they came from out if no where and now look the be the strongest tribe in K44 (Not in points but in experience and strength). They also recieved many players from DDB and Tooks after they fell apart. In my opinion they look amazing and I would watch out for them K44!
Some Congratulations To A Few Players!

Well I was here from the beginning started out good but got sick then was busy and forgot all about my job to keep my World 6 blog readers entertained.
Well, I’m back now so let’s get on with everything.
The most amazing thing in World 6 history has occured lately, The Monument of the once great tribe STACHE was taken,
STACHE has been gone since March 8th 2008 and the village was taken on and by:
Manoka of O~SIN on May 30th 2009
Meaning the monument lasted 1 year 2 months and 22 days.
It’s amazing to finally see new things happening in world 6,
But still the wars are un-changed and everyone is still fighting but it is not as serious as it was from the start, people have calmed down and attacks are just going out for new villages and not as a big thing any longer.
Hopefully something changes soon like someone switches sides, a duke quits, a tribe disbands.
All in good time though it shall happen hopefully soon though.
Well this is just my return post everyone knows i like big posts and i did’nt want my return speech very long so i hope everyone has a great Summer break and continue playing Tw.
I hate to see old friends quit.
Long Post Coming Soon…

Hey all!
We’ve started a new feature where you can email in your questions to us, and we will answer them.
We will answer 10 each week, and you can send them to blog@tribalwars.net.
They can be anything from questions about the game, to questions of staff members.
(no, we won’t go out with you, but a request of pics may in fact draw up something)
Make them interesting, the better the more likely it will show up here, answered by one of our lovely staff members.
Keep Checking, and thanks for visiting!

Well first, welcome to our blog, from the Tribalwars.net staff to you!
Let me tell you how this works and what exactly you can expect to read about here. All of our team has an account within the blog, and the opportunity to write on the blog for anyone and everyone to read. They are open to write about basically anything, as long as it stays appropriate(haha).
I hope you enjoy reading what we have to say, if not, thats okay too, everyone has their opinion, and these are ours.We have turned off the comment option, so that no one decides to wreck havoc with spam on our blog…
Topics will range from Introductions by new team members we hire to anything Tribalwars related, and of course real life topics. There may be some serious posts, and some goofy ones, most of the team have a great sense of humor and others are pretty analytical, so I think eventually there will be stuff for everyone here to enjoy while you wait for those noble to land and troops to recruit.
I hope you enjoy reading!
