Welcome to another addition of your world 52 blog. This week, fun has finally arrived! Nobles have made an appearance on our world, and now the better players and tribes will begin to pull ahead. This upcoming week will be one of the most exciting times for the world, as each player begins to try to build there own empire. We know who the first players to noble have been, but who will be next? Will it be you?

Reduaram conquers 501|481
Five days ago, Reduaram became the first play to conquer a village in World 52. He took a 1200 point village off of 0belix, who elected to restart in the middle of his tribe. However 72 hours after becoming World 52′s first nobler, he made this announcement.
Cheerio fellow forumers. Tis high time that I left TW. Unfortunately I have other things to do than spend time here.Perhaps I will see you in the future, perhaps not, I haven’t decided yet. But for now at least, I’m outta here. Have fun!
-Reduaram
Riptide Reload
The next cap belonged to Riptide Reload (Purple Predator) who nobled the next day. And the next. And the next. Riptide Reload currently sits atop the world with over 11k points, and 6 villages, twice as much as anyone else!
MortLikesFarming
Another big story in the early noblings, mortlikesfarming became the first player to noble a village over 2k points, when he took BlackoutBoys 4k point village.
I was told this dude was going to noble me. But I just cannot believe that cute little mort would do such a thing. Regardless…he can’t because as we all know. I am King Julian!

MortLikesFarming conquers 550|648
Up until this point, : P and afjlas were apparently a cuddle-loving family, but with Mort nobling sneggy and kingsam, what does the future hold for this hugfest? Well…
We quit so the family nobled us out…that simple
-Sneggy
We quit due to RL, and gifted village to mort.
-Kingsam
Blackoutboy quit, so we took his village peacefully, not many
members near him so his brother tribe took it.
-Mattcurr
Is there truth to this or not? Was it all planned by the family, or did Mort just catch blackoutboy off guard?
BlackOutBoy - Opponents Defeated as a Defender:
October 21st, 2010: 20 ODD
October 22nd, 2010; 12,522 ODD
An ODD rise of 12,000 points on the day they were nobled…
Diagnosis: Sneggy and Kingsam didn’t gift their village. It was taken from them.

These guys have jumped afjlas for the number 1 spot this week, though it is held by a slim margin. With nobling going on, these two tribes should be switching ranks for the next few weeks, unless one of them is involved in a major war, or if one of them disbands. For more discussion on : P, see the interview with Purple Predator below.

The tribe with the largest spread in the entire world. I recently found out some of the names behind the accounts of this tribe, and they have the ability to maintain that vast spread. These guys held the top rank until yesterday, when : P seized it through nobling. Expect them to bounce back and continue to switch with : P for the highest rank in the world. Both of these tribes have begun to separate from the rest of the competition, and I have been told that they are “One big happy family”

These guys are in good position, with a spread that spans all of K64. They should remain in the top 10 for awhile, and they can solidify their dominance of their continent very soon. They have the ability to expand in all four directions, with no large tribes near them. I had hoped to contact their leadership for some comments, but everything there is on a “need to know basis”, and I “don’t need to know”. Watch out for these guys.

Not much has changed with these guys since last week. They are still part of one family that is located in one K. Soon their continent will get too crowded and disputes over noble targets will arise – or disputes over the lack of noble targets. With over 100 members in continent 55, most of there members will have no room to expand. It will be interesting to see how they deal with this.

Reform is a tribe that is for the most part located in K45. As : P begins to noble, there could be problems between these two tribes. They are surrounded by : P on 3 sides, and they have the -RIP- family to their south. There is not much room for expansion for these guys – unless they fight for it…

1-On-1 With Purple Predator

Me: Okay, So for anyone who is unfamiliar with who you are, can you please start off by telling us your in-game name, and tribe.
Purple Predator: Riptide Reload of : P
Me: Do you hold any special position in : P?
Purple Predator: I am the duke and founder.
Me: So does : P plan to be here for the long haul?
Purple Predator: To the end….definitely not. Beyond several months is a possibility but that really will depend on how the world shapes. It has yet to get interesting.
Me: How do you see you tribe surviving with such a vast spread? Do you see : P splitting up into different tribes in the future or using a merger/recruitment to fill your vast gaps in between villages?
Purple Predator: Our spread is no longer really all that unmanageable. We already started to solidify and are currently primarily located in the Northeast. We will solidify further as players stand out to us.
Me: What do you think will happen to your players that are more isolated? Will they suffer the same fate as Sneggy’s/Kingsam’s account did?
Purple Predator: It is a possibility but that was an extreme case. All of the members that are isolated knew that would be the case when they joined and have no problem standing on their own to live or die so to speak. If those players stick around and continue to grow, we will add a few players for them to cluster.
Me: Do you see any upcoming issues with other tribes? Any tribe in particular? Or is it too early to tell
Purple Predator: No tribe in particular but there is a massive alliance chain covering most of the North East sector. It could become annoying. I have always wondered what it would be like die by a thousand paper cuts, but for the most part too early to tell.
Me: Well you seem pretty confident in your ability to take them on when the time comes. Have you ever led tribes in the past?
Purple Predator: Numerous times, most of them I forced Pervis to do much of the annoying parts. Actually I can’t really recall a world where I wasn’t a duke of my tribe
Me: Well you don’t have Pervis this time around, so is anyone else stepping up and helping out? Or are you leading : P all by yourself?
Purple Predator: at the moment I am by myself. Nauzhror was helping out but he is now focusing on tripling rank 20 on uk6.
Me: Well Nauz can be very good at startup when he wants to – especially with that great position in uk6. So who do you consider a better startup player, yourself or Nauzhror?
Purple Predator: Nauz has yet to beat me at a startup and even then I dont put any value on points. My points are always the result of whatever strategy I am employing for that particular world. Any time I have ever been rank 1 it has been by accident in startup stage.
Purple Predator: I have been rank 1 enough to know that it is more annoying than it is worth
Purple Predator: Speaking of…back in a minute need to dodge
Me: Well it seems you are already enjoying that target on your back that comes with the top rank. So are you shouldering this burden and honor alone, or are you co played?
Purple Predator: Solo. The earliest I have added a co player on a speed 1 world in the past few years has been after several nobles. I will probably stay solo here for some time still.
Me: Well being rank 1 without co players is even more impressive. Do you like or dislike the growing trend of having co players in tribal wars?
Purple Predator: It doesn’t really bother me when people coplay. I can fully understand the want to spend as little time as possible and still do fairly well. It only has a minor effect on the game as most co played accounts are just as bad as normal accounts.
Purple Predator: Most co played accounts I have seen have a lack of direction due to too many personalities and ideas on what is best.
Me: Well, your solo played method seems to be working best. How have you managed to noble 5 villages in 6 days? Have you encountered much resistance while clearing your villages?
Purple Predator: Unfortunately I hit them in the exact opposite order. The first two were offensive players and the last 2 were defense oriented with 20 walls and low morale. As for 5 villages in 6 days…I had my academy for a week waiting for somebody to noble so that I wouldnt be first and in that time I was continually keeping the loyalty of my first two conquers low.
Me: Why didn’t you want to be the first player to noble a village? And how much damage did your offense take while clearing these last 2 players?
Purple Predator: Only minor losses really but still annoying. I was seriously going to noble the smallest village I could find to see what would happen on the main forum but decided not to in the end. I have a thing against nobling first. There is no real rational reasoning to it.
Me: So, have you had any major setbacks in this world yet? Or has it been all smooth sailing so far?
Purple Predator: I missed one or two dodges but thankfully those were some of the smaller players suiciding on me. Nothing major so far though.
Me: So.. Any hints for all those new players out there that hope to one day become a player of your caliber?
Purple Predator: Don’t. You will end up losing more time than you want. If they don’t listen to that….then try to be efficient with your time. Proper time management can nearly match pure activity.
Me: Alright, thank you for your time and a fantastic interview. Good luck to you and your tribe.
Purple Predator: Thanks

Final Thoughts
The nobles have finally come. We are nearly 1 month into the world, and the excitement is beginning to build. So far only the top players have nobled villages, but by next weeks issue, there should be dozens of more players with multiple villages. Now we even have our very own cow as a moderator. I am always interested in reader feedback, so please feel free to post comments. If you have idea for the blog you can pm me on the forums, or you can contact me on skype @ thedrcox . I’ll see you guys again next week, but until then – happy farming.
Very good job presenting data and analyzing it. Keep up the good work!
Nice blog
Glad to see PP is gonna stick around for a bit
Brilliant. Loved it.
Nicely done Dylan.
