A New $CoD$?

December 7, 2010 in Uncategorized

Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, this week we have a special twist to the blog, a guest writer.

So without further ado let me hand you over to……Skinnywill!

The interesting turn of events in W22 over the past couple of weeks is the current slaughter of NN by $COD$ and for me it gives an interesting twist on the future of World 22.

Stats since the start of the war on 26 November 2010 at 22.08 read as:

$CODS – 467
NN – 11

Interestingly of these 165 with no loses were by Marrinalla whose war stats against XXXX were 437 lost against 2 gained which perhaps underlines the quality of opposition.

Therefore it seems that $COD$ rather than concentrating on their own inactives and barbarians in their safe K’s have found a new source of replacing their losses from XXXX and in many ways it serves NN right as their bluff has been well and truly called.

You have to admire $COD$ resilience as despite losing huge amounts of ground to XXXX and losing a good portion of their experienced and active players to SLW they continue to play on and looking at the self updating maps today they have nobled nearly twice as many villages as XXXX (176 v 92) despite only having 55 members to XXXX’s 73.

I go back again to Marrinalla who has nobled an incredible 521 villages in the last 20 days a daily average in excess of 25 villages!

So there certainly seems to be life in $COD$ yet which their current leadership are keen to stress.

Looking at the activity of $COD$ and XXXX maybe $COD$ persistence is beginning to pay off as within the two tribes the number of truly active members are equal with XXXX possibly beginning to suffer with inactivity as the stats below indicate.

Number of players who have taken a net amount of 20 or more villages in the last week:

$COD$ – 21
XXXX – 21

Number of players who have taken a net amount of more than 1 but less than 20 villages in the last week:

XXXX – 26
$COD$ – 19

Number of players with either a net amount of village losses or no village gains in the last week:

XXXX – 26
$COD$ – 15

Therefore for the first time I can see that $COD$ have a chance of prevailing in the major war of World 22 as their focus on a new war where they are winning easily is giving them additional momentum right at a time when XXXX’s activity appears to be flagging.

It is my belief that XXXX are better run and have better players as proved by their success to date in the war but activity is the key and they need to step it up. Of course there are other tribes and players out there that will have an influence on the outcome and only time will tell but I for one will be watching with interest.

Skinnywill.

My greatest thanks to Skinnywill.

That’s all for this week,
